Bengt Orup for Johansfors lampbase

If you want groovy 60s/70s decor, this is the sort of lamp for you. Grow your sideburns (only try this if you're male), dim the lights, put on some Doobie Brothers and sink back into the ambience. You'll probably also like the Italian equivalent - Carlo Moretti marbled glass - and you should have a look at the similar but more restrained Holmegaard designs of Michael Bang and Per Lutken.

Etched "Johansfors Orup" to the base

Colour: different shades of brown (some with a slightly orange tone)/white/clear

Condition: some scratchmarks and marks from the making underneath, the brass fitting a little scratched, some unintended bubbles. The plug will be cut off. You need to make sure that the wiring suits your country's electricity and that you get a plug that fits your sockets.
