Monica Backstrom Boda vase 1 of 2

I've just listed an Erik Hoglund sculpture.  This vase is the work of his wife, Monica Backstrom, who began designing glass at Boda in 1965 and has now been at Kosta Boda for over 40 years. 

We believe that this is a 1970s design.  Boda was part of the Afors group from the early 1970s but continued to use the Boda signature and label on some pieces until the mid-1980s.  The last photo shows the two vases together.

Etched "Boda M. Backstrom" to the base, stickered "HANDMADE BODA KOSTA BODA SWEDEN"

Colour: milky pale blue/yellow/green/darker blue

Condition: a few scratches and some marks from the making underneath, a 3mm mark from the making along the rim
