Murano fazzoletto (handkerchief) vase

These were originally designed by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini, but many of the other Murano firms began to make their own versions. Examples with applied bases will generally be worth much less than those made in one piece, like this one. Generally you can expect Venini versions to be signed. This one isn't, so it's probably not Venini.

Condition: somewhat unpolished pontil mark underneath (also some faint blackish marks), some light scratches along the base, a 1mm unintended bubble, some small light scratches elsewhere
