3 signed Lindstrand sommerso 60s Kosta art glass vases

We've had a set of three vases like this from our personal collection on our website for some time marked "Not for sale - contact us if you like them and we'll try to get more". It's been difficult (and expensive) to put together another set but we now have three more beautiful examples of this design. However, because we have such a long list of people who want them, we've decided that the fairest way to sell them is to list them on eBay without reserve and see what happens. If you want them, I think you should expect to pay somewhere in excess of £500 but as they are listed at £1, some lucky bidder may pick them up for a bargain. These are shown in the 1959 Kosta catalogue. Our own set is probably my favourite set of all the glass in our personal collection.

Largest vase

Engraved "Kosta LH 1444" to the base

Condition: very little wear to the base, a 1mm white mark inside the glass from manufacture, a 1mm fleabite on the side 1cm from the top and a 1mm fleabite approx 5cm from the base

Middle-sized vase

Height: 16.5cm (6.5 inches)
Width: 8cm
Weight: 1.1kg

Engraved "Kosta LH 1444/27" to the base

Condition: some scratching to the flat part of the base, a cm scratch and some light scuffs on the side just above the base, a less than mm fleabite on the inner rim

Smallest vase

Height: 8.5cm (3.5 inches)
Width: 8cm
Weight: 0.5kg

Engraved "Kosta LH 1449/27" to the base

Condition: wear on the base, a 0.5x1mm fleabite and three pinpricks on the outer rim, a 1mm dark spot inside (from manufacture)
