The seaweed vase is a Lindstrand classic .  The seaweed is, I believe, created through a version of the Murano "sommerso" technique.   Instead of a layer of glass over the whole vase, the layers are stripes of green which are then cased in clear crystal.  In most glassmaking, random bubbles are to be avoided.  For a seaweed vase, however, the coating of bubbles on the green adds to the effect.

Condition: Near mint. A couple of small (less than 5mm) scratches on one side, a 1mm nibble to the edge of the base
