2 labelled PIETRO TOSO and C sommerso lamps with large bubbles

Pietro Toso & C was a Murano firm which we know existed in the 1960s and which doesn't exist now. Pietro was no doubt one the large clan of Toso who left their names on the firms such as Fratelli Toso, Aureliano Toso, and Barovier & Toso. We believe Pietro Toso & C specialised in lamps. We don't know much more about it. 

The style of glass, the look of the label, the amount of wear on the base, and the yellowing of the electrical cord tell us that this is far from new, perhaps 1980s.

Height: 10cm to fitting, 17cm to top of fitting
Width: 9cm
Weight: 1kg and 1.1kg

Condition: Light age wear on the base. A few sundry scuffs and scratches. Nothing significant. The plugs will be cut off so you will have to put new plugs on and check the wiring is appropriate for your country's electricity system and regulations. Remains of a pontil mark (where the metal rod for working the glass has been detached before the base was ground and polished) or burst bubble on the base of one.
