Signed 1947 Murano ashtray with folded lip
This is similar to the first Murano ashtray Pete and Viv ever bought. The folded lip style is usually ascribed to Archimede Seguso or Alfredo Barbini. Unusually, this one is etched Murano A??? 47 on the base. The hard to decipher letters might be Aili or Aeli or Aeti or something else. This is usually considered to be a 1950s style but we assume that "47" means it was made in 1947.
