Gorgeous murrine/aventurine Murano art glass bowl

Viv owns two of these bowls in her private collection, and Glen has one also. Viv's first one was nicknamed the happiness bowl because she said that everytime she looked into it she felt happy. The last picture shows one of Viv's along with Glen's and the one we're selling.

There are a number of different coloured glass murrines (canes) which radiate from the centre. The rim of the bowl has been folded inwards in three places and there are corresponding clear glass lobes on the underside. The base is lattimo (white as in latte) and the whole thing has been cased in clear glass.

Like all of the pieces with metallic foil in them, this is more beautiful than we can capture in a photo. Light makes glass beautiful but the camera often can't handle it.

This is truly a beautiful piece of art glass. The new owner won't be disappointed.
