1950s Vicke LIndstrand off-centre vase
This heavy piece (nearly 2kg) is one of a number of variations of the off-centre vase designed by Lindstrand and blown by master glassblower Bengt Heintze using a bent blow pipe. It is harder to find than some of the others.
It's broader in shape than some other variations and the top is not cut flat. The green covers only half of the inside of the vase, fading to clear. It is shown in the 1959 Kosta catalogue. It was made in green or red (the red being a brownish red).
