Signed Gunnar Nylund 1950s shark's tooth vase for Strombergshyttan
We don't list a lot of brown vases, but I love these off-centre vases. The amber graduates into chocolate, and it's surrounded by lots of heavy, slightly blue-tinted crystal. It has a dangerous-looking shark-tooth rim. It was designed around 1955. Gunner Nylund worked at Stromberg from 1952 to 1975. The firm closed in 1979, after being sold to Orrefors in 1976.
I also have a taller version listed (1950s 25cm Gunnar Nylund Stromberg shark tooth vase), and what I consider to be a magnificent set of three (Set of 3 Gunnar Nylund-designed Stromberg shark tooth vases). I list this one to provide a slightly cheaper option.
