If I had to pick the most collectible pieces from Vicke Lindstrand's 1955/56 Kosta 1 catalogue, I would pick his "Unica" pieces - the Spring, Autumn, Trees in Fog, and Abstracta series.  This is a rare and wonderful opportunity to to own a set of two Spring pieces, a bowl and a vase.  I'm listing these as a set and won't sell them separately.  They should stay together.  The second picture is a scan from the 1955/56 catalogue, showing the vase and bowl together.

The Kosta "unique" pieces are a little confusing.  There are some which are marked "unik" and which are genuinely unique.  There are others which have model numbers (2004 to 2036) and a designer code "LU", for Lindstrand unica.  These appear in the 1955/56 Kosta catalogue, but clearly they are not one-off pieces.  However, they are special designs and are avidly collected by connoisseurs of mid-century art glass.  For some reason, in the catalogue and in our example, the bowl is not an LU piece but is marked LH [Lindstrand hand-shaped] 1107.

This is a version of the Spring vase, LU2008, from the 1955/56 catalogue.  In fact, that design is listed as 25cm tall where ours is 27cm.  Ours is not signed in the usual manner.  Presumably it was made as a gift and therefore marked with the owners initials and date (birthday or possibly day of retirement from a company.)  The photo of the base has come out looking very blue, which is not of course how it looks in real life.
