Ove Sandeberg yellow lamp with clear protuberances for Kosta
We don't know too much about Ove Sandeberg, but he seems to have been something of a lamp specialist at Kosta in the 60s and 70s. The only other pieces of Sandeberg that we've owned were also lamps.
Vintage lamps are great - practical items to have in your house, beautiful, old, and almost certainly good investments which will appreciate over time. If you like heavy pieces, as I do, you'll find that they are often they are heavier than vases of similar design. Because they have a shade on top, they need to be particularly bottom-heavy. This one, for example, is over 2kg. See http://www.modernistglass.com/glasspieces/search/lamp for a selection of our other lamps.
Note that vintage lamps generally require a small amount of additional work once it reaches the buyer to make sure the plug suits their country and that the wiring is up to the standards required in their regulations.
