30cm labelled Strombergshyttan 1950s vase
I like bud vases. It's interesting to see what different designers do with the challenge of creating a vase for a single stem. This is designed by Gunnar Nyland for Stromberg in the 1950s in the slightly blue-tinged clear crystal that was Stromberg's standard recipe.
It's one of my favourites. Those who appreciate Stromberg should note that these bad vases are harder to find than some of the other Stromberg vases which have been selling at higher prices. Because they are so tall and thin, we suspect that many haven't survived the last 50 years. Expect the next one we list of these to cost more.
