This is an interesting one. This piece was sold to us as a Kaj Franck piece, but when we checked our research books for this piece we found that although it's very similar to Franck's model no 260 for Nuutajarvi (see the second to last photo which shows our signed KF260 piece 1959 Kaj Franck for Nuutajarvi Notsjo dark purple sommerso vase), the lip goes up instead of down.  It is in fact a 1960s design by Aseda.

It's a nice design.  The last photo shows a labelled example with two other designs in the same series.  (Thanks Carola!)

Width: 15 cm
Weight: 1235 g
Condition: wear and a mark from the pontil to the base, some less than 0.5mm unintended bubbles and a few 1mm bubbles, two 1mm marks from manufacture, a couple of scratches to the exterior (longest 8mm)
