Signed Vicke Lindstrand 'Trad i dimma' - Trees in Mist - 1951 for Kosta

Kosta master glass-blower, Bengt Heintze was quoted in his biography, Master Bengt: the Glass Legend of Sweden (Hans-Olaf Lundmark, 1995) as saying:

Vases like Trees in Mist, Autumn, and Abstract are some of the most beautiful pieces I have made.

Trees in Mist (which also translates into Trees in Fog) is arguably Lindstrand's most collectable work at Kosta.  If you are a serious collector of modernist art glass, this is a piece you'll want.  It's listed here at $4850.  We aim to provide quality glass that you can trust, not bargain basement prices but in this case I think this is the cheapest that you'll find this vase on the internet.  If you miss out on this one, ask us to look for another for you, (bearing in mind you may have to pay more for it.)

Condition: expected wear to the base, a 0.5mm and a less than 0.5mm fleabite on the base, a 4 cm fine line from manufacture (looks mostly like a scratch - see pictures), a few light and small scuffs and scratches to the exterior, a 7mm, a 5mm and a 2mm scratches
