Signed Holmegaard Per Lutken dark blue fried egg bowl
Here is a classic Lutken design for Holmegaard, in a less common colour. The raised centre is typical of Holmegaard. Lutken wrote in his book, 'Glass is Life":
The Fried Egg is what we called this ashtray. A natural use of a cold parison [the first small bubble of glass at the end of a blowpipe] and hot, flowing solid glass rolled out on a shaping block.
His writing is not as clear as most of his glass, but I presume he means that they used a parison as a mold to make the 'egg' in the middle. It's a quirky, unique design.
