49cm (20 inch), signed, 1950s Lindstrand Kosta bowl

The first photo shows this backlit on a stand, so you can appreciate the colours, but really, this was designed to sit on a table so that you could look down on it. If you have a decent sized coffee table or a spot on your dining room table when it's not being used for dining, here's the piece for it. It's a monster bowl in wonderful condition.

Lindstrand is one of our favourite mid-century designers. His work at Kosta in the 50s and 60s is one of the main reasons Kosta Boda is the force in Swedish glassmaking that it is today.

Engraved "Kosta LH 1216" to the base
Condition: light wear to the base, two colour imperfections from manufacture in the white area underneath the bowl, a few small and light scratches elsewhere (longest 3mm).
