Pair of heavy signed Lindstrand paper weights with 'flames' of bubbles

Often pieces go on the website, then sell the same day, to the chagrin of customers who say, 'I would have liked that!"  We have quite a lot of people who have asked us to let them know when we are about to list 'something special'.  We do our best, but our aim is that everything we list should be special!  So we plan (March 2008) to give people who are on our mailing list advance notice of all or most of the pieces that will be listed in the next 4 weeks and a chance to buy them before they are viewed by everyone.  If you haven't yet put yourself on our mailing list (at the bottom of left-hand side of any page), please take the time to do so.

Note the weight of these paperweights - the larger is nearly 2kg, the smaller 1kg.  Otherwise, they speak for themselves.  This is a good example of art glass which is much better as a set of two than as a single piece.

Condition: very light wear to the base, a few scuffs and scratches elsewhere (longest 3mm), wear to the sticker

Smaller one
Height: 7.5 cm
Width: 8 cm
Weight: 945 g
Engraved "Kosta 95868 Lindstrand" (?) to the base, stickered "kosta Sweden"
Condition: heavy wear and a less than 0.5mm fleabite to the base, part of sticker missing, a few scuffs and scratches to the exterior (longest 2mm), two less than 0.5 mm greyish marks inside the glass from manufacture
