1954 Ingeborg Lundin Orrefors vase with 'hat brim' lip
This was designed in 1948 and was shown in the next Orrefors catalogue, in 1954 (see last picture). It's another rare and special piece. It has a striking, off-centre, slanted lip, like a hat brim. Ingeborg Lundin was the first woman designer at Orrefors, joining a team of famous men who were still doing fine work, but had been there for a long time. We like her designs, which added a new dimension to the Orrefors catalogues. See also:

Engraved "Orrefors Du 3112" to the base
Condition: very light wear to the base aside from a less than 0.5mm fleabite, a couple of less than 0.5mm unintended bubbles (can be seen in the pictures), two or three small scratches to the exterior (longest 2mm), a somewhat deeper 3mm scratch a couple of centimeters above the base
