FM Konstglas Ronneby gold paperweight

Many of the figurines of FM Konstglas of Ronneby Sweden had cleverly designed and constructed patterns in the glass to make the glass look more like the real thing, like feathers on a bird, for example, or the skin of a whale.  The pattern within this paperweight, is no exception.  The gold on the 'yolk' is clearly designed to make this look more egg-like.  The bubbles, however, are just to make it look beautiful.  The gold will look particularly fine in night light (similar to the flash effect in the second photo).
