Set of signed 1955 Gunnar Nylund shark tooth vases - Stromberg's finest hour

We love these shark-tooth vases by Gunnar Nylund for Strombergshyttan. We've watched them get harder and harder to find, and dearer and dearer when we do find them. However, we think they're still a bargain and this set is good buying at this price.

They're similar to the off-centre vases designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, but with the clever addition of the shark tooth effect.  They are made with the typical Stromberg attention to quality.  I think they are a bargain.

This is the first set of these that we've managed to put together for at least two years.  Nylund was probably the biggest "name" designer to work at Strombergshyttan in the middle of last century.  Gerda and Asta Stromberg were responsible for much of the other design work.

Condition: very light wear to the base aside froom four less than 0.5mm fleabites, a handful of scratches on one side (longest 1 cm)

Engraved "Stromberg 772" to the base
Condition: no wear at all to the base beside from a handful of less than 0.5mm fleabites to the edge of the base, a slight unevenness to the outer rim from manufacture (only noticable in a certain light and angle), a few scratches elsewhere (longest 4mm)
