On hold - Labelled 17 inch V Nason large Murano bird with gold and silver aventurine

If you want an impressive piece, big is good.  This striking bird figurine by Murano firm V Nason is very big and, we think, very beautiful.  It's made of dark blue glass cased in clear and translucent around the edges, with gold and silver foil.  The beak is clear.  Vincenzo Nason trained at Venini, and left in 1967.  The label on this piece was used from around 1980 until the firm's closure, in about 2001 so this is a relatively new piece, but excellent buying at this price, and, we believe, bound to appreciate.
