Contoured bullicante sommerso vase with 'Archimede Seguso Murano' label

This is a wonderfully shaped vase made by one of the great glassmakers of the 20th century. The fine bubbles and the sommerso layer give it immediate impact, but for me, the shape is the attribute that makes it so much better than the 6-inch sommerso vases of most other glassmakers.

The label also adds considerably to the value.
