Josef Schott for Smalandshyttan 1960s labelled vase
Glass designers put curves and bulbous lumps of clear glass on pieces in order to create an optical effect. Here, Josef Schott has also created one of the most interesting and complex patterns I've seen in this type of moulded piece. It's made in an attractive shade of blue with the bumps and lumps in clear glass.
