Vicke Lindstrand 1950s art glass bowl purple line
I've always liked this style of low bowl with a flat, cut and polished rim, something that Lindstrand did a number of variations of over the years. We have canoe-shaped version, from a different series, in our own collection.
This example has dark purple lines, and the point where they meet in the base is covered by a black purple dot. The model number (1253) on the base shows it to be from around the mid-1950s. The last picture shows it with another purple line design (model number 1245) from the same series which I'll list soon. We bought them together, and they make a nice set.
