Elis Bergh 1940s signed Kosta sommerso vase
Here's the second in my tall, thin vase series of listings. We believe this is an Elis Bergh design from the late 1940s, a period for which Kosta catalogues are hard to find. Bergh was design director at Kosta from 1929 until his retirement in 1950. Other Bergh designs, both signed with a "B" and a four-digit number, as this one is, and nothing else, can be seen at http://www.modernistglass.com/glasspieces/search/bergh/0/0/0/1
