Unique personally-signed Bertil Vallien bowl for Kosta Boda

As I list this, an Internet dealer (one of the reputable, up-market ones who actually knows about what he's selling) is trying to sell a unique Vallien bowl in similar colours (ours is more beautiful though) on eBay for US$2350. It's not an outrageous price, but ours at US$1100 is an exceptionally good price for a unique work by one of the leading glass artists of the last 40 years. Our price reflects the fact that, because we are buying in Sweden, we can often pick up bargains.

The bowl features surrealist floating mermaids on a wavey, bright-coloured background, with occasional geometric cut-outs.  Acid has been used to etch away layers of colour and create the design.

Engraved "KOSTA BODA UNIQUE 1363590277 B. VALLIEN" and Vallien's own signature mark to the base (signed by Vallien himself)
Condition: very light wear to the base (protected by felt dots), a 2mm scuff to the exterior
