Rare 1955 Paul Kedelv signed heavy sommerso vase for Flygsfors

This is one that will make your friends suddenly understand why you rave about art glass.  The second image is, I think, the one that will best explain it, so you'll need to click through to see that.

Paul Kedelv created art glass that was different to anything anyone else had made before. Here's a design that most of our customers will never have seen before; we hadn't either, but the signature is genuine and you can't fake 55 years of random scratches to the base.

It's a lovely shade of blue submerged in a big, heavy, round crystal base - the sort of base that you would give a very tall thin vase to keep it stable. Kedelv liked to confound expectations so he's kept it short. At 6 inches tall, the proportions are perfect; a beautiful vase in every way.

Condition: expected wear to the base aside from a 0.5mm fleabite, a handful of less than 0.5mm very shallow flecks around the rim, a 2mm and a 1x5mm fleabites about four centimetres above the base (both on the same side - see picture), a handful of scratches to the exterior (longest 4mm)
