This is a large pressed glass wallhanging of a Picasso-esque woman. It could be used as a sun catcher and the last photo shows another of these pieces, but in red, hung in the sun on our deck.

The name of the artist and the company are part of the design. Elme Glasbruk was founded in 1917 Like many other glass factories it struggled as automation made it harder for old-technology firms to compete in the 1960s, and finally closed in 1970. John Kall worked there in the 1960s so it's somewhere between 40 and 50 years old.

Height:36cm (14.25 inches)
Width:13cm
Weight:1500g
Condition: internal cracks from manufacture at the corners, a few unintended bubbles (largest1mm)
